Finish Thompson DB Series Magnetic Coupled Pumps Overview

Made of polypropylene or PVDF material, DB Series magnetic coupling pumps operate durably in the most corrosive environments. It can even work dry without being damaged. For this feature, the pump must be equipped with a carbon bearing.
DB series pumps, which are concrete indicators of technological progress, have many advantages over other magnetic pumps on the market in terms of precision, performance and reliability.
In the transfer of explosive and flammable fluids and requirements for use in such environments, ATEX norms are provided with PVDF models and ex-proof electric motor, despite being a plastic pump.

Why Magnetic Coupled Pump?

Since conventional centrifugal chemical pumps have wear-and-tear seals, they require high-tech solutions and expensive packing design, especially in aggressive or crystalline chemicals, to operate them reliably.
In addition, maintenance work at regular intervals significantly reduces their availability for the enterprise. The magnetic coupling - non-sealed pumps have the advantage of hermetically sealed design and maintenance-free.
Finish Thompson magnetic coupling pumps use the Neodymium magnet structure with the highest quality standards in the market, and the drive from the electric motor is transmitted to the pump with the principle of magnetization. The externally rotating drive magnet transmits motor power without contact to the internal magnet and thus to the fan. This means that a continuous shaft is not required, and therefore there is no wear shaft seal towards the motor. The pump housing and the motor-drive unit are completely airtight.
The result is maintenance-free pumps with no leakage.

Patented �Non-Contact System� mechanism can work under difficult conditions. Thanks to the specially manufactured magnets, the contact of the magnetic capsule and the pusher ring of the rear housing is prevented, thereby preventing the parts of the equipment from melting due to excessive heat generation.
Patented Self-Heat Emitting Structure �design; Thanks to the heat-distribution holes placed in the propeller and magnetic capsule in equal proportions, it reduces the formation of the heat generated during the rotation of the shaft and bearings by circulating the liquid around it. Thermal deformations and meltings are prevented in this way.
Optionally, PVDF models can have ex-proof electric motors and Atex certification.
